Hello everyone!

We sell a large variety of Japanese anime products. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on getting our traffic and sales up without going BROKE.

Our current sales are primarily on Ebay. We tried to get away from it, but with no luck. In order to keep the business running, we now post every new item on the site & Ebay. (lots of work!) I have to admit that MOST of our website sales are from repeat customers that we have from Ebay. Unfortunately, people are SOOOO addicted to Ebay, they are afraid to use a website.

Basically - we need to target NON-EBAY users.

In the past, we have used Yahoo Ads and are currently still using the Google Adwords. In our niche, it is hard to just trade links with anyone related to the subject because they all have advertising fees. Also, anime magazine ads cost anywhere from $1000-2000 per month. We also just created a MySpace account to help get our name out there.

I understand you have to spend on advertising, but what is the most cost effective you've found? Any help is appreciated!
